- The inconsistant use of hyphen vs. space vs. no separation between the words in romaji transliteration of kanji compounds should be cleared. One possibility would be to use ZERO WIDTH NON-BREAKING SPACE between the words in compounds so that they could be transformed into HYPHEN-MINUSes if needed.
