Basically, I view these objects, .50 BMG (12.7 x 99 mm) rifles and hand guns, as displays of mechanical excellence and precision. They are, however, designed for a single purpose: to cause large avulsive wounds, i.e. to kill. Thus, they should be available to no one, or, better yet, they should not be manufactured at all.
